Disneyland

We were lucky enough to be able to take the girls on vacation to Disneyland for the first time. We had so much fun! The girls were in awe the whole time. I must say that one of the best times to go is during Christmas. The place was covered in Christmas lights and decorations and we got to see the Christmas parade and fireworks. It was amazing and so magical. Right when we entered the park there was trolleys and carrigages both being pulled by horses dressed for Christmas as were the drivers. The girls were so excited to see Mickey and friends, but when Mercedes saw the princesses it was all forgotton. She loved them! They are so good and friendly and do an awesome job of making the children feel comfortable with them. We went on tons of rides including; Mr. Toads Wild Ride, The Haunted House, (which was totally redone from The Night Before Christmas), Pirates of the Carribean, Submarine ride which has been redone with Nemo characters, and most importantly,It's a Small World. (It looked like a huge gingerbread house with all the lights). The girls also got to meet Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore. We did lots of other fun things but those were the highlights. We also got to see all the other characters and princesses in the Christmas parade.
